UNA COPA PARA CADA VINO

Si en la mesa tenemos platos hondos y de postre, cuchillos para el pescado y otros para la carne. Si el vaso de agua no sirva para el chupito y el pincho de la “fondueau” no lo podemos utilizar para los berberechos, existe también una copa para cada vino.
En general, los vinos tintos necesitan una copa grande mientras que los blancos requieren una copa mediana. La forma y el tamaño de la copa influye en la percepción de los aromas y sabores. Cuando el vino se sirve, comienza a evaporarse inmediatamente y sus aromas llenan rápidamente la copa, en capas, de acuerdo con su densidad y peso específico.
Los aromas más volátiles, aquellos que recuerdan a flores y frutas, se elevan hasta el borde mismo de la copa, mientras que el centro se llena con vegetales verdes y componentes minerales y terrosos. Los aromas más pesados, típicos de la madera y el alcohol, se quedan sobre la superficie misma del vino. Así, el mismo vino puede mostrar aromas frutales en una copa y acentos a vegetales verdes en otra. Para eliminar este efecto, sería necesario agitar verticalmente la copa para que la mezcla de las distintas capas fuera completa, y sólo así se podría lograr el mismo bouquet en todas las copas.
Podemos concretar un poco más:
La copa tipo FLAUTA es la perfecta para beber cualquier cava y observar la evolución de las burbujas.
La copa tipo CHAMPAGNE es la favorita de los expertos. Estilizada y con un leve abombamiento, que permite que el líquido repose con amplitud en su interior, en esta copa afloran los aromas mientras el rosario de burbujas se aprecia perfectamente. Es aconsejable para disfrutar de una de las 3 variedades de vinos espumosos de RAIMAT: GRAN BRUT, CHARDONNAY BRUT Y BRUT NATURE.
Esta nos puede servir tanto para blancos como para tintos. Será preferible utilizarla en blancos afrutados o muy aromáticos o un vino joven tinto. RAIMAT VIÑA 27 CHARDONNAY.
Es la copa tipo BORGOÑA, lo bastante amplia para permitir que los vinos tintos que hayan permanecido en barrica se puedan abrir. RAIMAT VIÑA 32 CABERNET SAUVIGNON.
Es la copa diseñada para que los vinos que han pasado largas temporadas en barricas puedan airearse y volver a expresar ampliamente sus aromas. Recomendamos esta copa para RAIMAT VIÑA 54 SHIRAZ O RAIMAT VIÑA 43 TEMPRANILLO… vinos para beber tranquilamente.
